ORM ( Online Reputation Management) refers to influencing and controlling individual’s and group’s reputation. Originally we can say public relations term.The growth of the Internet and social media, along with reputation Management companies., have made search results a core part of an individual’s or group’s reputations.
Online reputation management, sometimes abbreviated as ORM, focus on management of the product and service search result within digital space.
Whereas, A variety of electronic market like Alibaba, Amazon, Flipkart have ORM system’s in build, and using effective control nodes these can minimize the the threat and protect the systems from possible misuse and abuses by malacious nodes.
Tips to improve online reputation management

Own the first page on Google result page:
Everyone
knows, for making business to be online, we required digital
marketing. As we are talking about Google Page. If you want your
website to be high ranked in the Google search Engine result page.
You have to do SEO of your web page. SEO is nothing but search engine
Optimization. We use SEO for ranking of a webpage.
Once
we starts traffic on our website, ORM will be good.

Be Social: Claim your social profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Google+,
Youtube and Linkedin.
Make
a your profile on all social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter,
Google+, Youtube and Linkdin.
Join
Linked group and increase your connections. Keep engaging with your
network and share the idea with your network and many more., that
will also help in increase your ORM.
Same
for Twitter and Facebook. Make a videos about your business and
thoughts and viral that videos on social media platforms.

Blog
Write
a blog about company, personal or professional. Once you get the
time, I would say write a blog about your company, write down how did
you set up your company, how much efforts you put for recognition. On
daily basis, write down personal blog as well and linked with company
blog. Keep on sharing on social media platforms.

Encourage the review: Review is very important for your reputation.
Register yourself on different review sites and ask the customer
about the reviews whether it is good or bad. Encourage the people to
write something about us about out work, product and services.

Argue: Never argue with any of customer, whether he gave bad or
good reviews. Be respectful always. Respecting is important. Respond
once and be thankful for that.

Mobile: Best and important part is your website should be mobile
friendly, you can say responsive. Your website should open in mobile,
tablet like a friendly website.

Be active: Participate in online forums, put up sideshow on
slideShare. SlideShare is available in Linkedin where you can share
your power point slide.

YouTube:
You
should have a Youtube channel for your company’s. Upload videos
about product and services. You can upload the video about
testimonials. Promotion of your youtube channel is also necessary.
Try to make a people to subscribe youtube channel. Make it viral on
all social media platforms.
